We urge the Australian Catholic University to reconsider its decision to disestablish the Medieval and Early Modern Studies research program and also its targeting of historians more broadly at ACU. These are bad decisions.

A fun part of this evening was posing a question to the room: if someone made an audio documentary about your life, what would the soundtrack be like? Not just music, but also sounds you associate with your childhood, home, work etc. Loved the responses…

And as for worries about inflation? Our research looked at the correlation between minimum wage rises and inflation growth over the following 4 quarters, and found... well none. 7/8
