So sad that Rydal Mount is to be sold The news follows hard on the decision to sell Ripley Castle near #Harrogate. Let's hope that new owners of both properties will still give access to the public.

Having already refused to hold a national inquiry, Labour has now dropped its commitment to hold 5 local grooming gang inquiries - announced just as Parliament breaks up for Easter, to avoid scrutiny. Those brave victims have been disgracefully betrayed. youtu.be/ZSdClqR22CA

O thou, who at thy Eucharist didst pray That all thy Church might be for ever one, Grant us at every Eucharist to say With longing heart and soul, 'thy will be done.' O may we all one Bread, one Body be, Through this blest Sacrament of unity.

Aldous Huxley claimed in 1925 that this was 'the greatest picture in the world'. The fresco of the Resurrection of Christ, Museo Civico, Sansepolcro, probably painted 1467-68, reproduced in the English Missal for today

We are so back for Christian revival! Hallelujah He is RISEN! Our church plant has gone from 0 to 60 (78 at church today) in just 20 months. An evil bishop sacked me and tried to close our church and we have faced relentless spiritual attacks but Jesus is building HIS church!

Monday in the Octave of Easter I look forward to reading the beautiful words of the Sequence each day. The account of the meeting on the road to Emmaus was Mum's favourite of the post Resurrection stories. She loved hearing it in church on Easter Monday.

On Wednesday in the Octave we shall read the Year's Mind of our parish and pray for those recently departed. Pope Francis will be first on our list. May he rest in peace.
