1/2 Thank you to the majority out enjoying Halloween last night behaving themselves. Unfortunately we were called to youths on Barnaby Park throwing fireworks into the back garden of nearby residents. On arrival the youths dispersed and alcohol was confiscated and disposed of.

2/2 Messing around with fireworks is extremely dangerous especially while consuming alcohol. It can cause serious injury or death to yourself/others. It is against the law to set off/throw fireworks in the street/public place. Please think about the consequences of your actions.

Sadly, a 63-year-old woman who went missing from her home in Poynton yesterday has been found dead. The incident is not suspicious and the woman’s family have been updated and are being supported by officers. Many thanks to everyone who came forward with information.
