Thinking of starting a newsletter with similar content to what I wrote on $TMDX / $RPRX / $PAYC. I.e. Long form, fact based Only fundamentals, no trading / momentum bs, no sensationalism. Margin of safety and circle of competence based write-ups. Would there be interest?

Everytime I listen to the The All-In Podcast I realise more and more that Jerome Powell is terrific and a bone fide American patriot. Chapeau. And oh, Chamath is a scammer.

Problem with “regime change” as it seems to be the target for Israel, is that it fragilises a priori the legitimacy of the new political class. It will always be perceived with distrust. See Shah Mohammad Reza and the CIA backed coup. History keeps repeating

Volatility is not risk, and risk is not volatility. If you drive 200kmh in a highway for 4h and then hit a lorry & die, you encountered a fat tail event with minimal average sigma volatility for your trip. The same applies to investing. Risk is the probability of permanent loss.

Liver data shows positive momentum heading into June. As of June 15th, there have been 8.3% more liver transplants in 2025 vs 2024 (5,738 vs 5,266). $TMDX is the main contributor, and will likely have a similar impact in heart and lung transplants once their trials are approved.

One of the worst books I’ve read. No coincidence its most quoted by empty headed trust fund sons and daughters. Whenever I hear the word “the universe” I want to throw up

$RPRX —> buying back the manager was the right decision. And now people can value the company properly. Made this my n.1 position not expecting the gap would close so quickly. In any case, PT=$50/share by 2026/27 (i.e. 2x unlevered in 2-3 years)

This. My grandfathers had Italian, then German soldiers storm their houses during WW2. Then the most brutal dictatorial communist regime for 45 years, with food rationing, no freedom of speech and no freedom of movement. And when it went away, they were 60+ yo. A wasted life.

Reminds me of that scene in Breaking Bad where Walt wants to be humane. He doesn’t want to be a killer. He even makes a sandwich for Krazy-8 with the crusts cut off. Then Krazy-8 tries to kill him with a piece of a broken plate. Americans fundamentally dont understand shia islam

Socialists are incapable of learning. In fact a basic tenet of socialism is being incapable of balancing a check book, reading a P&L or understanding taxes. Looters.

The UK is heading into a irreversible currency and debt crisis. At which point austerity will come. Like in Greece and Spain, it will bring pain and stagnation for a while, until it won’t. Austerity is like exercise, painful in the short term, glorious in the long term.
