There’s a protest against the seemingly continual 💩💩 discharge at Gylly Beach at 10am on Saturday 8 October, please come along & join us, your voice matters, particularly when our MP Cherilyn Mackrory stands by & does nothing about the persistent law breaking of South West Water
Playing around with Sentinel Hub to look at data availability over Qikirtaarjuk Island (Dease Strait, Canada) this Spring. Lots of days of 100% cloud cover but you can see how rapidly ice break-up occured in early July (@cbraybs + I are in these images!) #EOBrowser
Very excited to get my new #DisabledRailCard!! Thanks to BBC Radio 4 BBC Money Box for the great show on Sunday and the helpful people at Scope for helping me navigate the forms. If you have #MultipleSclerosis (or a number of other longterm conditions) then you are eligible!
‘90% rain’ yeah…”SWW sewage discharge this morning at StAgnes. Unbelievable. A dad just got out this arvo and said to his 3 year old ‘Best wash the sewage off…’ It is still stinking. No way am I surfing in that. Feargal Sharkey Surfers Against Sewage Hugo Tagholm
Congrats to PhD researcher ruolinleng for her first authored paper on Himalayan alpine ecohydrology. As climate warms, more land will become available for plant growth and this will likely impact hydrological processes. Small plants matter!
.Jennifer Watts, PhD student University of Exeter, Cornwall studies how variable sea ice coverage impacts exchange of CO2 btwn the atmosphere & polar oceans. She uses #drones to collect RGB & multispec imagery of ice conditions in the footprint of eddy covariance towers. #WomeninDronesWednesday
5K swim complete! Thank you so much to everyone who supported me and the wider 'pod' of swimmers. Very proud to have raised over £600 for RCHTCharity with the initiative overall raising more than £10,000 🙏🎉😄
