What she has forgotten to mention is that we are 2nd worse in infant mortality, and in the top 10 for teen pregnancy. We also have no Pre-K education, and turn down money to feed kids in need. We may birth them, but we sure don't take care of them! So, a weird, and sad, flex.

Please continue to be shocked by school shootings. I’m begging you. Do not let it become normal to you. It’s common. It’s not normal.

When Republicans inevitably blame mental health and not the guns for yet another school shooting - kindly remind them that 205 of them voted AGAINST a bill to expand school-based mental health services.

UPDATE: The shooter is believed to be a 14-year-old boy. Georgia has no minimum age to purchase rifles, doesn’t require parents to securely store guns, and doesn’t have background checks on all gun sales. cnn.com/2024/09/04/us/…
