Our Zoom Workshop Series is looming. The 1st one, with Clare Pollard [May 7, 7-9pm, £24.50/£18.50] is just over 4 weeks away. Entitled 'Joining the Poetic Conversation' can you afford to miss this rare workshop from this brilliant poet? Only a few spaces left tinyurl.com/mryb2dr9
Thanks Mathew! None of the editorial team is paid, so these £3s go towards costs like Submittable and web hosting, which are far from cheap. We're still unfunded and can't offer to pay guest editors. Dr Jo Clement is editing issue 20 solo for this reason.
On Wednesday 10th April, join us online for the launch of ‘The Butterfly House’ by Kathryn Bevis, with guest readings by Dillon Jaxxpoet and Jonathan Edwards. Register for the Zoom link here forms.gle/zAdwQxv3eKu2Tf….
i thought this by Clare Pollard, out in june, was just wonderful - other people will rightly praise many things about it but i am here to tell you that there was a scene so romantic that i wanted to fling the proof across the room, and as you all know my standards are very exacting
PROOF REVEAL 🎉

Respected children's writers and illustrators and a whole organisation and a whole publishing team get together and agree, in this plague year 2024, that the most disgusting thing to add to The Twits is ... a visible disability. Scrap this now PuffinBooks and do so much better.
This is both heartbreaking & maddening.
The creative industries account for more than £100bn to UK economy, 15.9% of all UK service exports.; there is more production space here than anywhere in world outside of Hollywood. RT if agree!
