Peer conferencing with our essays. One student reads their essay while the other student listens and checks the rubric. The peer also has a checklist of what they are looking for. Then they give feedback and give the checklist back to their peer so they can make corrections.

Great growth on our MAP testing! We surpassed our goal in both reading and math. As a class we felt we had really good growth in math and want to grow more in reading. We set a goal to read more at home.

In math we’re studying the conversions of meter to kilometer. We know it is 1,000 meter sticks to equal 1km.We were curious to see how many meters long the hallway is.We then thought how many times we would have to go up and down the hall to equal 1km.The hallway was almost 58m!

For Earth Day on Monday, we read some books in Novel Effect 📚🎶 , learned about watersheds, completed an escape room in Seesaw and decorated and planted some flowers. We can’t wait to see our flowers grow!
