A huge thank you to the KCMO Health Dept and Dr. Marvia Jones for inviting us to the Health & All Policies feedback session! Our parent leaders had a great time engaging in important discussions on public health and civic involvement.

In Class 13, our parent leaders learned how public policy shapes our communities and how they can help improve it! Through a mock policy hearing and hands-on activities, they got to explore ways to advocate for change and make a real impact. It was a great session!
