I've been trying to understand the critiques of this song all day, and I'm just going to assume it's people who love the play and are being nitpicky about the movie (understandable) because I really think she sounds fine.

I listened to her book a few years before I knew who she was. She narrates it herself. It's honestly really good, but definitely filled with trauma so be aware, indulge at your own risk.
