Want some help digesting the new DESI Survey results? Watch @SeshNadathur and Andreu Font Ribera talk through it all in a Cosmology Talk... 🙂 youtu.be/9DsMphPfrjI

🛠️ Hannah Pollek, SLAC mechanical engineer, gives us an inside look at how the LSST camera will photograph the southern night sky once it gets installed at NSF-DOE Rubin Observatory. stanford.io/3CTulcw #SLACExplains #RubinObservatory #capturethecosmos #Astronomy #DarkMatter #DarkEnergy

Five million people have clicked on the Veritasium video on black holes featuring @Cosmic_Horizons and seen some Penrose diagrams, so I thought it would be a good time to explain what they are. I'll do this over a few days using the hashtag #penrosediagram.

Yes!!! The first public image from NSF-DOE Rubin Observatory Simonyi Survey Telescope (just the fun pixels 😉). Now ponder getting 21x this, every ~40 seconds, ~8hrs/night, for 10 years. That's what's coming by the end of this year.
