The PM’s top officials are “working very closely with the the Prime Minister’s office to manage all of the conflicts he has declared.” Managing conflicts? C-5 enables the Liberal Government to exempt projects from laws like the Conflict of Interest Act. Conservatives will

Bill C-5 is said to be about ‘national interest’ projects. Yet Liberals won’t show a list of projects, keep saying that 🇨🇦 is in a crisis, & hand individual Premiers a veto. Either it’s a crisis requiring national leadership or it’s not. They need to step up & be transparent:

Yesterday, Chrystia Freeland said in QP that she had written Premier David Eby about his plan to allow BC Ferries to buy 4 ships from a Chinese state owned shipyard. I immediately requested in the House that she share the letter and make it public. People deserve that transparency.

Bill C-5 included abilities for the PM to ignore conflict of interest laws --Conservatives stopped that. When I tried to put safeguards in C-5 to keep the Liberals from stacking the deck in favour of their friends, they tried to block it and voted against it. Thankfully, our

From Minister Freeland's letter to the BC NDP Govt. "...I ask that you verify and confirm with utmost certainty that no federal funding will be diverted to support the acquisition of these new ferries."

The Liberal government’s Infrastructure Bank just handed $1B of your tax dollars to a Chinese state-owned company. No jobs for Canadians. No benefit to our economy. Just more borrowed money leaving the country.

Pierre Poilievre (@pierrepoilievre) 's Twitter Profile Photo

They knew. Freeland and the Liberals knew they were bankrolling a BC ferry purchase from a Chinese state-owned company with $1 billion of your money. Instead of backing Canadian jobs here at home, the Liberals quietly write cheques to a foreign hostile regime, using taxpayer

Only the CBC would tell Canadians that the Liberals have established free trade in Canada when nearly all barriers—including many federal ones—still remain. Straight from the Department of Truth.

It’s very simple: no Macdonald, no Canada. No federal board has the right to cancel the first Prime Minister of our country. Sir John A. Macdonald deserves to be clearly recognized for his role in the foundation of the wonderful country we get to call home.

Heading up to Ottawa today for an emergency committee meaning. Canadians deserve answers on why the Liberals allowed $1 billion of Canadian tax dollars to bankroll BC Ferries' purchase of new ferries from a Chinese state-owned enterprise.

Conservatives have proposed that the Transportation Committee conduct hearings into this BC Ferries mess. We need accountability: why is the Liberal Government financing 4 ferries from a State owned shipyard- offshoring steel, aluminium & shipbuilding to China, not in 🇨🇦!

Dan Albas (@danalbas) 's Twitter Profile Photo

We were successful! Looking forward to getting answers to concerned Canadians as to why their tax dollars are offshoring jobs in 🇨🇦. This deal to finance Ferries in China is the opposite of Team Canada- the fact that all parties voted in favour says something significant.

BREAKING: Conservatives call on the Liberal government to cancel their $1 billion loan to BC Ferries that will outsource Canadian steel, aluminum and shipbuilding jobs to a foreign, state-owned enterprise. Unjust and illegal American tariffs are attacking Canada's steel and

The Liberals were clear, and I quote from the Minister: "I ask that you verify and confirm with utmost certainty that no federal funding will be diverted to support the acquisition of these new (China-built) ferries." We are asking the Liberals to do as they say.

Canada’s Prime Minister cannot be trusted to make decisions on housing, energy, or AI when his decisions could boost his own future payouts. The PM must sell his holdings so a trustee can invest the cash in a truly blind trust.

Will you tell this to Minister Robertson & the Canada Infrastructure Bank? It is financing at below market rates the outsourcing of Canadian steel, aluminum & shipbuilding jobs to a Chinese state owned shipyard!
