Here's a #throwback to our wiggling worms lesson with our garden explorers at Explore Community School! While digging in the dirt the students learned that worms were hermaphrodites - they could be both male and female. It was a fun day of #discoveries with these guys!

We're getting ready for #fall at Ross Early Learning Center and are excited to be in the garden with our students virtually for the start of the 2020-21 school year! #Kudos to all school staff who are teaching virtually - let's plant more seeds of inspiration this year!

This team of amazing women on this day 11 years ago... The seed was planted at The Edible Schoolyard Project's summer academy, and they became Plant the Seed's founding board and staff. We are ever grateful for their vision. Thank you, Megan, Susannah, Malinda, Melia and Jenny.

Beauty and bounty in our partner garden at @ivanettadaviselc - female cabbage white butterfly on a pink zinnia and ripening red cherry tomatoes. We harvest juuuust enough to keep things producing well for the return of our little gardeners in a little over a month. #gardengrowing
