The Brent River Park is a great place to spend time in hot weather, particularly our woods, like Long Wood, where trees have a natural cooling effect as well as providing shade. Get out early if you can before the heat builds. So much to enjoy as our 50th Anniversary approaches.

In 1975, the opening of the Brent River Park was celebrated with Morris Dancing. 50 years later this chain of parks is the green heart of the borough, a wildlife corridor and a vital floodplain for the River Brent. Come to celebrate its first 50 years this Sunday, 29th June.

John Perryn Primary School in Acton is the first school in the borough of Ealing to be recognised as a School of Sanctuary. This means it goes the extra mile to welcome and support families fleeing war and persecution.
