I visited two family farms in Arkansas today to talk with producers about Partnerships for Climate Smart Commodities. Earlier this week, I announced $2.8 billion for 70 projects that will advance climate smart agricultural practices. #climatesmart

Beyond the incredible climate benefits, Partnerships for Climate Smart Commodities creates more markets and revenue for producers. Dept. of Agriculture is always looking for new, more and better markets for our farmers and ranchers. #climatesmart

Teamwork is crucial to milestone conservation efforts. DU, USA Rice & the National Black Growers Council (Black Growers) gathered today in Arkansas with Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack to celebrate the historic $80 million investment in sustainable rice funding from the Dept. of Agriculture.
