Attorney General Josh Stein joined Governor Roy Cooper, President Biden, and Vice President Kamala Harris in Raleigh to mark 14 years of the Affordable Care Act becoming the law of the land and one year since NC expanded Medicaid. Helping people get life-changing health care helps us build a stronger North Carolina.

It was great to join with former Congressman G. K. Butterfield today.

Fighting for quality healthcare that is both accessible and affordable is crucial to ensuring a good quality of life in eastern NC.

I’m so grateful for this wonderful crew of County-to-County and Neighbors on Call volunteers who came out to knock doors with us this afternoon.

It was great to to connect with our neighbors and learn what issues are top of mind for folks.
