Trophies awarded this afternoon to individuals in recognition of outstanding performances at the annual sports day. Well done all athletes. A closely fought event with the over all house positions to be announced during speech day later today.

Back to school and the start of the rugby, hockey and netball term for all the yr3/4/5/6 pupils. Fixtures start very soon 🏑🏉🏐

Busy afternoon for all of the yr7/8 pupils. The boys travelling to Stoneygate for their first matches of the season. The netballers practicing in the full court ready for their fixtures next week.

Yr7 netballers entered the competitive arena for the first time this afternoon hosted by Duston. The attacking positions kept the ball moving enabling the shooters to have plenty of opportunities in the circle. Player of the match Nanna leading by example. Well played all 🏐

Kit bags all loaded ready for an 11am departure to Condover Hall for the yr9/10/11 netball weekend away. Some excited players and heavy kit bags!!!

The buses have arrived after a lunch at Pizza Hut on the way.

The group are free to explore the grounds ready for an evening meal with activities starting at 7pm. Super excited!

Busy afternoon of netball for the year 8 team playing at the Moulton School tournament. The team played some very flowing netball in the round robin stage to reach the final. Narrowly losing to Spoone in the final. Well played all of the squad 🏐

The year 7 team also played in the Moulton School tournament this afternoon. They came second in the round robin stage to reach the final against Spoone. A nervous game saw the team not quite as free flowing as in the earlier games - lot to be positive about. Well done all 🏐

Yr9/10 netballers were introduced to the art of umpiring this afternoon. Many taking turns in umpiring the full court games. Confidence grew throughout the afternoon with many enjoying the additional responsibilities. Well done all who gave it a go 🏐
