@pistachiosoup

I write books. I may not finish them, but I write them all the same. If I have conservative fans, I am not writing right. (he/him)

Don’t tower, ADHD-DVD, I will eventually stop binging your podcast. 1.) if your want a superior Time Traveller, watch the Wishbone episode. 2.) no one sees the Time Machine because it’s moving faster than light. 3.) writing time travel stories is hard 😔

I didn’t get to see a rerelease of the Mummy, ADHD-DVD, but I did get to see The Matrix in theatres for my first time ever and it was fucking rad. JUST LIKE SPEED RACER IS. . But in checking Cineplex, they’re rereleasing the Michael Keaton Batman movie!

Speaking of practical effects, ADHD-DVD, I think it’s as simple as compositing. It’s incredibly hard to make CGI look like it’s not literally a series of images taped onto film. A CGI werewolf will never look more in London than a practical one in the 80s.

I know I’ve been listening to podcasts for a while now, ADHD-DVD, but this just makes me feel old. I’ve never cared for scary shit, but I love the evolving canon of Hallowe’en lore. slashfilm.com/505932/the-fil…

Right before I remembered that Breaker High was not the same thing as 15/Love, ADHD-DVD, I was reminded that Meaghan Rath was not ONLY in the Being Human remake that I loved so much, but was in a giant ad right outside the café in the Surrey Kwantlen café.

Walking on glass has NOTHING on the original Little Mermaid, VWR: she wants to be a human because while mermaids live for 300 years, they don’t have souls, and don’t go to heaven. She then only gets a soul AFTER getting hitched. Also, lol.

Twists and plot holes are to movies, ADHD-DVD, what being “woke” is to a game. If it’s good enough, people don’t complain about it. I only didn’t know who Vader was once, but I still watch Star Wars. Similarly, BG3 is so great that conservatives ignore Joe gay it is.

Speaking of movies filmed in Canada never being set in Canada, ADHD-DVD, Continuum is set here! I was SO excited when the villains sent a bomb to the Delta Hospital and mentioned Ladner Trunk road. Thats the road i got hit on, and went to that hospital after!

Listening to your Dead Reckoning pod, ADHD-DVD. While I love them to death, ever since the HALO drop, they’ve been too digitally touched up to look very real. Especially the HALO drop.

Not only is Hot Rod absolutely fantastic, ADHD-DVD, and not only was it filmed in Vancouver, I mostly recognized it braided off the busses. Also, hwiskey.

I’m not going to defend the Transformers movies, ADHD-DVD, but the Bumblebee movie was great, and Rise of the Beasts was fun. Beast Wars (Beasties in Canada) was always my favourite Transformers as a kid. And ReBoot! Both the best. also, lol
