Really interesting concept. Whilst Covid is obviously and rightly at the forefront of medical/media efforts at the moment, it does make you consider the wider ramifications on clinical care and questions what post-covid NHS demographic will evolve as a result.

**URGENT: Please Read** The noble Nigerian Prince Nwamu has an overwhelming personal supply of N-95 masks. He wishes to share his abundant riches with you. The noble prince only requires your credit-card and SIN number to complete the transaction.

This idea that the new F1s need to check their egos and be reminded to respect the nurses/pharm/mdt seems very outdated. 99% of new F1s are respectful, humble and mostly terrified.

Given what is now happening with hospital staffing I can’t help thinking the NHS should have vaccinated all patient facing staff as an urgent priority

Potentially controversial thought: has the “NHS heroes” narrative contributed to abuse of front line staff? We’ve encouraged the public to think of healthcare workers as infallible heroes, rather than hardworking ordinary people doing their best with absurdly limited resources.

If you are a surgical FY1 and you haven't had a cry about work yet, you are either incredibly good at stress management or emotionally unavailable. There is no in between.

"You knew the pay when you applied" - and it's been cut by 26% "You knew what you were getting into" - and it's been severely underfunded "If you don't like it, then leave." - they are "Why can't I get an appointment?!" - they left. #PayRestoration #RightToStrike #NHSStrikes

Consultants who are covering the strike. Firstly, thanks. Secondly, pretend you're a new rotational trainee. Look where you can put your bag, park, eat. Don't use your office, use only the chairs and space you are given. What consultant-lvl decisions are you making? Would the f1?

What are your funny/creative ideas for placards and slogans for the upcoming junior doctor strikes? So far I like: “Pay so bad, even the introverts are here” “First came the claps, now come the slaps” “Doctors: 30% off” “My outrage can’t fit on this sign”
