Really excited about this event - great line up of speakers at University of Warwick
Delighted to have the chance to work with Royal Institution and Faraday Institution - the future needs batteries, batteries and more batteries! WMG
Sneak preview of my upcoming talk Solid State Ionics - Thursday 4pm - Abbey Room (5D5 Battery Degradation/Dendrites). Operando NMC//graphite pouch cell studies without Synchrotron*. I will be highlighting recent work from both FI-Degradation and FI_FutureCat projects. Please say hi!
The views from the rooms Solid State Ionics are pretty wild.
Neutron studies are so cool - especially when doing x rays at the same time! Thanks for Gabriel for the tour! ISIS Neutron and Muon Source and Diamond Light Source WMG and FI_FutureCat
Big fan of Annual Review of Materials Research and have now contributed with “Oxygen Redox in Alkali-Ion Battery Cathodes” Annual Reviews @FI_Futurecat FI-Degradation and Grey Group annualreviews.org/content/journa…
New publication from Faraday Institution FutureCat project asking the question: Does Oxygen Dimerization Occur without Oxidation in Li2NiO3? | ACS Energy Letters pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…
Dimers, dimers everywhere.... but what does it mean? Here, we show that O dimerization is independent of bulk redox processes and that a transformation toward a reduced phase remains the only variable capable of generating O–O dimers in Li2NiO3. Faraday Institution
X-ray projects with Research Group of J. Cabana - 5/5 would do again.
Congratulations to Louis F J Piper and FutureCat team on this insightful paper! The study shows how oxygen dimerization in Li2NiO3 can occur without cathode oxidation, shedding light on oxygen-redox activity and structural transformations. Check it out ⬇️ #BatteryResearch
We’re proud to be playing a crucial role in the electrification of transport, & remain committed to collaborating with industry to push the boundaries of sustainable innovation. #Electrification #BatteryInnovation Faraday Institution
The lithium triangle representation at WMG with the VRFs from Chile and Argentina and PhD from Bolivia. Thanks to Faraday Institution and Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and also Israel Temprano
