Exactly a year ago, I was sipping a pint at the Pint of Science festival in Copenhagen Pint of Science DK, today I attended pintofscienceIN in Bangalore. Great talks and lots of energy from the organizers and the crowd! (and to my suprise: an article about giraffe genetics! 🦒🧬)

Last day of #Pint25 wrapped up with energy and insight! At Fort City Brewing, Hauz Khas, Delhi, our IYNS member Archana Yadav captivated the audience with an engaging talk as part of the Pint of Science India series, pintofscienceIN . Three incredible days of science, stories,

A young Indian girl in France 8 yrs ago was invited to present her research in a bar. The experience was unforgettable and inspiring for her, and it made her wonder, what if she could one day bring the same experience to India? It could inspire millions to love Science 🙂

And this year her dream came true! Pint of Science festival, now held in 27 countries, made its debut in India in Pune, Bengaluru and Delhi. Despite war and floods, the event was a huge success, with full house for most events and several press features across the country 🎉

But it did not happen overnight. Not finding enough volunteers, I had to take up tasks including contacting speakers, handling social media, press releases, website and coordinating the teams. The venues, asked "who would turn up to hear a Science talk on a weeknight?" 🤓
