Unsettled weather is expected across the area into the weekend with very high rain chances for showers and thunderstorms forecast daily. We don't expect a total washout for the holiday, but plan for several rounds of rain through the day with some locally heavy possible. #flwx

Heavy rain and flooding expected this week - Be prepared and stay safe! Remember it only takes six inches of fast-moving water to sweep a person off their feet and to stall standard-size vehicles - and just 12 inches for vehicles to float. TURN AROUND, DON'T DROWN
