Our Peer Pals, under AfriyanUganda contributed to a session hosted by UNFPA East and Southern Africa ; a precursor to the #dayoftheAfricanChild, focused on combating #teenagepregnancy, #endchildmarriage, and promoting comprehensive sexuality education across the Africa. UNFPA in Uganda
Our team participated in a 3-day Capacity Strengthening Training organized by Kyetume Community Based Health Care Program Planned Parenthood Global, focusing on: ✅ Leadership & Team-building ✅ Systems & Policy Development ✅ Grant Writing & Donor Engagement We're excited to apply these new skills and improve our programming.

The #SheLeadsUganda 5 year/project concluded with a impactful closeout breakfast Girl Up Uganda. Through its work in influencing policy & strengthening CSOs like Nile Girls Forum , #SheLeads has established a lasting legacy of empowered girls and women leaders for driving change.
As part of the #WeLeadProgram’s final phase, we hosted our partner Restless Development for a partner visit to reflect on: ✅experience of #WeLead ✅sustainability ✅Youth Collective ✅Youth Power Toolkit ✅explored future collaboration & ways to stay engaged in youth-led advocacy.
#NGFcollaborations, we connected with the Femme Forte Uganda team on exploring areas of collaboration on feminist principles and advancing gender equality. We bring together our shared passion for meaningful youth and women engagement in advancing health.
As members of AfriyanUganda we contributed to the enriching 2 day #AfriYANUg Strategic Advocacy Workshop at UNFPA in Uganda . We shared our advocacy work in humanitarian settings with displaced youth and the role of #refugees in sustainable development.
I'm attending the prestigious #HowWomenLead Fellowship in San Francisco,California, alongside distinguished women leaders from around the globe. This esteemed program will enhance my leadership capabilities, ultimately benefiting the impactful work of Nile Girls Forum
