In Home Economics, pupils have not only been learning new skills & practicing routines but also cooking up a storm for the festive season. The BGE classes made gingerbread biscuits for our Winter Show & senior classes made other tasty treats! Thank you for all your support! 😀👏

What a wonderful Festive Lunch we all enjoyed today! 🎄🎉⭐️ And there was even a guest appearance from a familiar looking (walking and talking!) Christmas Tree….🎄🎄🎄!!!

Red class dug up the Time Capsule today! It was buried in the garden in 1999.  We had fun trying to guess what would be inside. It was interesting looking at what Pilrig Park School was like 25 years ago, especially when we noticed the lunch menu hasn’t really changed!😃#History

Once again, we’ve made it to the offices at STV News in Glasgow! Our fabulous calendar for 2025 was delivered by a former pupil and gratefully received by John John MacKay, Raman Raman Bhardwaj and Sean Sean Batty ! Glad you like it! 😃

Some shortbread biscuit practicing going on this afternoon in Home Economics! Mrs Ferguson was in there quick, to do a taste test - and the verdict? AMAZING! Yummy! 😋 We will be offering shortbread at our Scottish ceilidh, next Wednesday afternoon - parents and carers invited!

Green Class helped their teacher to make communication boards to remind other pupils to wear warm clothes when it's cold. Here they are helping to hand out the boards to classes! 🥶

Another great drama session with Katie and Lisa of Cutting Edge Theatre today! There’s was a lot of excellent drama going on in both Yellow and Red classes, who thoroughly enjoyed themselves! 😄

Our Scottish 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Week is in full swing! At assembly today, Red class told us about Burns Night and showed us how to sign ‘Scotland’! Yellow & Purple classes had fun trying on tartan ahead of our ceilidh tomorrow afternoon! Looking forward to seeing parents and carers for a dance!

Blue class is taking part in swimming🏊‍♂️ sessions at Broughton Primary School for a few weeks!🏊‍♀️ Everybody is doing really well and having lots of fun. 😃
