Waiting at the finish line on day three of our first ever Silver D of E exped. A tremendous effort all round!

Amber Hill WOW took a trip to Willowbridge Farm to carve pumpkins and spend time with the sheep. We used their classroom for the pumpkins and fed the sheep digestives and the left of pumpkin 🎃

Milly, Molly and Mandy are all settling in well at The Pilgrim School! ❤️

We visited the Deer Park trip at Stourton Estates. We had a tour of the park on a tractor trailer, the students loved seeing the Deer and exploring the land of the knocked down stately home.🦌🌲

Year 10 have been making element baubles researching information about the different elements of the Periodic table to make a festive Chemistree!

World Book Day!

On Tues students from all bases and the home visited the National Space Centre in Leicester to celebrate British Science week and their WOW theme for this term , Our Universe. 🧪👨‍🔬

Following in from our visit to the space center, British Science Week continues. Students have been learning about safety with electricity and wired a plug as well as investigating what happens to the mass of a balloon when we pump it up which completely blew our minds #BSW25!

In this weeks WOW, we had a visitor from Guided Dogs, who brought his 8 month old puppy Quiver who is in training. He explained about what his role is as a trainer and how they get the dogs ready to fulfill their Role.

Spring has certainly sprung at Amber Hill. Recently we have been planting over 200 native trees donated from the Woodland trust.🌼

Today we raised £112 across all three bases for Red Nose Day!🔴🍰🧁
