I'm thinking about the fact that all the slurs APART from the r-slur were redacted/censored in this tweet, and what that says about how the left sees ableism as inherently less dangerous and harmful than other bigotries.

It's always wild that I see so many people going 'I saw a [very expensive car] with a blue badge!' because blue badges literally have nothing to do with money or finances? You could be a trillionaire and still need a blue badge because you physically can't walk very far.

Weird. This week I've seen people say disabled people should get a job instead of relying on benefits, whilst simultaneously saying companies shouldn't have to pay disabled workers as much (or at all) Make up your minds, folks

Chronic illness takes pieces of you slowly. You don’t really notice at first. Hobbies, routines, parts of your personality start disappearing. One day you realize nothing feels the same anymore. Everything’s changed and somehow so have you.

I do think PIP needs reform. I think more people need help. I think assessors need appropriate medical training. I think people that have life long conditions that won't improve shouldn't need to keep going through this.
