Day one of the long-awaited AHETCA Conference unfolded with the two main partners People's Health Movement Uganda People's Health Movement Uganda and Makerere School of Public Health Makerere University School of Public Health spearheading discussions that impact advocacy and activism around Health Equity.

The event was graced with partners such as SEATINI UGANDA, Nottingham Trent University,HEPS-Uganda, who fostered collaboration through sharing best practices on what they've done and are hopeful to do, to address the disparities to attaining universal health coverage and access.

The collaboration between policy makers, CSO activists and with the research academia, doing grassroots communities' health and empowerment projects, will tailor solutions that address the needs of the community more satisfactorily, and bridging the gap to equitable health access
