Crews from all over HWFRS dealing with a large agricultural building fire tonight.

In attendance at a property fire in Bromsgrove with Red watch and on call units from station 25 and Northfield crews from WMFRS. All occupants unharmed following successful activation of smoke alarms at the premises.

When the whole of Herefordshire was flooding, I picked up a house fire! Brave and instinctive initial firefighting from the crews from Bromyard and Ross on Wye ensured that the fire was prevented from spreading through the roof space. All occupants were thankfully unharmed.

Dealing with an incident in Hereford today accompanied by the Hereford crews using appliances and an aerial ladder platform to eradicate the risk to the occupiers, Xmas saved!

Can you believe it, a petrol station fire tonight, crews from across Herefordshire tackling the blaze brought under control in the early hours of Xmas day, great actions from the initial crews to get in and stop the fire spreading to the fuel tanks. Brave and decisive actions.

As my 30 year fire service career comes to an end, my daughter starts her journey as a brand new firefighter starting hers. In amongst the highs and lows that this role in society brings, this is the most precious high of all. Welcome to the thin red line firefighter 3182.

Bromsgrove white watch spending some time with their newest member of the watch today. Matt is fresh out of training and We wish him well on his fire service career that starts today.

My last working day at the mighty station 25 Bromsgrove started with a Covid safe presentation with the watches and on call unit, ex colleagues and my boss, GC Phill Sanders. They got my family there too making it all the more special. Thanks everyone for a fantastic last day.
