Loved last weeks PennSunday where Penn Jillette talked about what happened in the P&T show “last night”. I’d love to see the shows where things don’t go as planned, maybe sometime. Penn called me up in July of 2019 to help with a trick, got this souvenir. So fun!

Would love to be at a Penn Jillette and Teller show where Penn saves tricks, runs through the show at Ramones levels, deals with people, but also it’s good the ones I’ve seen he hasn’t had to do that and it all goes the right way. But those would be interesting…

When I got called on stage I was so happy and listened to everything and took it all in. Did what I was asked. Created something with the two of them. It was so cool being up there! Penn Jillette Teller back in ‘19, wouldn’t think of doing something to mess it up

Which Penn Jillette and Teller tricks do you wish would come back to their show? I loved Trust (but I love all the memorization tricks), Lucky; Multiple Outs would be cool to see live…and who’s gotten called up on stage or volunteered? For what?

Double bass players: were you sore starting out? Like my arms and shoulders are sore from lifting it up and holding my hand in position I guess I have to get used to it. Penn Jillette? Any tricks or suggestions for starting?

Bass is fun especially jazz, but it’s different as the one keeping time. It’s going to be fun when I get into actually walking bass lines…but now continuing to work on pressing the strings down hard and plucking hard too!

Happy birthday Penn Jillette love you and can’t wait to see you later this year. Hopefully in Vegas too. Thanks for being my inspiration to learn upright bass too, I’m having so much fun learning it!

Loving my lessons-teacher is great, I look forward to them every week. Moved on to triads, with leading tones, and some more technique stuff. But having a lot of fun, and I think my jazz knowledge helps. We’ll see how this week goes…
