Regarding wealth inequality: consider whether sports would be more fun if the richest teams could always buy the best draft picks. If you don’t know how it actually works (and why) - take some time and read about it.

Introducing RTFM (Real-Time Frame Model): a highly efficient World Model that generates video frames in real time as you interact with it, powered by a single H100 GPU. RTFM renders persistent and 3D consistent worlds, both real and imaginary. Try our demo of RTFM today!

VR headsets will only become broadly useful when they allow strangers to comfortably communicate and cooperate while wearing them. I don't know how to convey this clearly enough. Trust me - I have worked on it my whole life without success. skarredghost.com/2025/10/16/app…

If you are in #SecondLife, and you'd like me to leave a 'Philip Linden' cube somewhere in SL as an easter egg for others to search for (and promise not to tell), DM me with with the location.

Google maps (and Waze, Apple Maps, etc) are an unusual example of tech actively increasing diversity of experience - sending us different routes so as to avoid each other. Compared to most everything else (YouTube, Insta) that concentrate and homogenize our behavior. Bravo!

What country is most likely to do what actually made America great: Enticing immigrants to come and seek their fortune in a land of opportunity, strong personal freedoms, tolerance, and great education?

That those impossibly beautiful murmurations need only seven neighbors showing that emergence can happen with a compact neighborhood is inspiring. Suggests that discretized substrates can be universal wrt emergence. princeton.edu/news/2013/02/0…

Your infrequent-but-important reminder that we set the US federal reserve requirement to zero in 2020 as a response to covid, haven't set it back, and no one is talking about it. What could go wrong?? en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reserve_r…
