The kids at #CityHackerSchool asked for for-loops in Microsoft MakeCode to iterate up and down in arbitrary ranges. No problem, we implemented and released an update to our MakerBit extension during the session!! Works well with TheMakerBit LED blocks.

Lisa is afraid that autonomous cars will drive down the basement stairs. Therefore she removed the ultrasonic sensor from her smart car and installed an IR receiver. Our refreshed TheMakerBit IR extension works well with the new Micro:bit Microsoft MakeCode 2020! #GirlsWhoCode

This weekend I delivered my #meetandcode 3D printing workshop. 100% online, nine boys and girls, webcam pointed to the printer, and a lot of fun and learnings. #Tinkercad is awesome! Afterward, I spent almost a day fixing and troubleshooting my printer. New printer is ordered!🤩

We are running an autonomous driving challenge in our family. Our TheMakerBit smart car is using an ultrasonic sensor to detect drivable space and its #microbit compass to figure out if it is stuck. Perception, planning, and execution in only #42 lines of code. 🙈
