Meet Phi Beta Kappa member Kate Lyons, a geology major in our Honors Program. She's done some pretty cool things, including studying abroad in Tanzania, launching Temple's first Compost Collection Project, and conducting research as a Frances Velay Research Fellow. Go, Kate!

Meet PBK member Patty Fernandez, a Global Studies and Spanish major. She exemplifies PBK's ideal of a liberal arts education. She's currently studying in France, previously studied in Ecuador through LASS, and did an internship in Brazil. She also did summer research at Brown U.

Show some love for PBK member Thomas Kuklinski, an Honors Program religion and Chinese major. Fun fact: Tom did field work in the mountains of Taiwan using drone videography and GIS software to digitally preserve religious sites. He also works in the Education Abroad office.

Meet PBK member Alejandra Galarce Diaz, a Spanish and Criminal Justice major in the Honors Program. She studied abroad in Oviedo, Spain, and is an RA in Morgan Hall South. Want to practice your Spanish? She's also a Conversation Partner in the Student Success Center.

Rachel Warner is a Phi Beta Kappa member and a Global Studies major (German and Poli Sci minors). Fun Fact: She interned at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan while studying at TUJ! Rachel also studied in Germany, and is currently in Rome. Where will she go next?

Meet LaRae Mays-Hardy, a senior Phi Beta Kappa member with a philosophy major. She has served as a Diamond Peer Teacher, and performed in the world premiere of "From Safe to Brave." She's also the president of the Babel Poetry Collective and is in the Honors Program. Go, LaRae!

Phi Beta Kappa senior Cecilia D'Arville is a Global Studies and History major in Temple Honors. Fun fact: while studying at Temple Rome, she interned at L'Osservatoria, an organization that highlights worldwide humanitarian crises. She also traveled to S. Africa with IDEAL.
