I’m not just a metals guy, I would call myself a general #materials enthusiast 😂. Just finished my first carbon fiber vacuum layup (4x 200gsm, Lantor Soric core). Worked beautifully, except for a small vacuum leak. Also, could use a better pump.

Next project: a #carbonfibre suitcase. Made a prototype with only a polypropylene GN 1/2 plastic container as a mould and a vacuum storage bag. Didn’t turn out half bad.
