1st weekend of recruiting thought: I think I speak for most college coaches when I say we are NOT looking for perfect players. I’ve never walked away from a recruit because they had 1 bad AB or made an error. I don’t need perfection, I need players who can recover from mistakes.

My Mattoon Cobra team played well this weekend. I was very excited to hit my first career home run yesterday! It was fun to celebrate with my team! My updated stats are .552 batting average, .594 obp, 1.490 ops, 9 singles, 5 doubles, a triple and the HR, and 13 rbi's.
