Todd Hopkins’ Marquette Crusaders swept the Conference series with Midland on the road 15-5. Connor Baker, 4-5 and Anthony Couch 3 RBI’s were batting leaders while Jaxsen Higgins WP with 11 K’s while driving in 3 runs. Cru are 26-3 on the season.

Curtiss Johnson’s Marquette Lady Crusaders picked up win #23 on the season defeating 2A Bloomington Central Catholic 9-6. Avery Durdan, 4-4, 2 HRS, 3 RBI’s and Hunter Hopkins 3-4, 1 RBI were the hitting stars while Savanah Erickson was the WP in relief.

Todd Hopkins’ Marquette Crusaders improved to 27-3 with a 13-0 win over Newman Catholic in Sterling. Keaton Davis 3-3 and Sam Mitre 3-4 led the 15 hit attack. Alec Novotney allowed no hits while striking out 7 in 5 innings for the CG win.

Curtiss Johnson’s Marquette Lady Crusaders picked up win #24 with a 15-1 win in Sterling over Newman Catholic. The Cuchra kids were the hitting stars, Kelsey, 3-4, 4 RBI ‘s and Taylor, 1-2, HR, 2RBI’s. Savanah Erickson was the WP allowing 1 run on 2 hits.

Todd Hopkins’ Marquette Crusaders closed out their regular season with a 10-4 win over the Forreston Cardinals at Masinelli Field. Keaton Davis was 3-4 at the plate. Griffin Dobberstein , one of four Crusader pitchers was credited with the win. Cru record now 28-3.

Curtiss Johnson’s Marquette Lady Crusaders ended their regular season with a 18-0 win over Forreston Cardinals at June Gross Diamond. Hunter Hopkins had a big day at the plate, 3-3, 3 RBI’s including a HR and Double. Lily Brewer was the WP. Girls season record now 25-6.

Curtiss Johnson’s Marquette Lady Crusaders grabbed the Regional plaque tonight with a 5-4 win over host Grant Park. Kealey Rick, 3-3, 2 RS, 1 RBI and Kelsey Cuchra, 3-4, 2 RBI’s were the hitting leaders. Taylor Cuchra, WP threw a complete game allowing 0 ER. Cru now 27-6.
