People in Scotland are fed up with cuts/excuses/a system that puts the wealthiest first. We all feel it in our bones: it’s indefensible to slash public spending that supports those who need it most while private wealth is quietly stashed away. Time for fairness & fair taxes.

That's great if you want to produce selfish individuals who put their own interests first and don't value views of others. Not so good if you want to help young people develop into caring citizens who value the benefits of collaborating with others to solve real world problems.

That's great if you want to produce compliant individuals who follow rules obediently without asking questions or impose their ideas on others. Not so good if you want to help young people develop agency, critical thinking and contribute towards making the world a better place.

Not sure I'd describe any teacher as 'lazy'. Teaching approaches reflect the type of learner you want to nurture... Obedient, compliant, good at remembering facts, procedures? ... Or creative, independent, good at applying ideas to new situations and solving real life problems?
