That season Spurs played League matches on May 1, May 3, May 5, May 8, May 10, May 12, May 15 and May 17. Cup final followed on May 22 with replay on May 27. Madness. #COYS

I see British tennis star Jack Draper is currently playing M. Bellucci of Italy. Surely Jack ought to beat a 60-year-old actress.

Exhausted after playing EIGHT League matches between May 1 and 17, Tottenham limped across the line. But it was a well-deserved trophy after a magnificent season.#COYS

Worth recalling that Spurs were almost relegated in this guy's first season in charge. Two seasons later he led them to The Double. #COYS

Spurs fans will always remember this guy getting Justin Edinburgh sent off in the 1999 League Cup final. Spurs had the last laugh, though. #COYS

Beware. If you renew your BT/EE contract they will take you off TNT Sports without telling you and then say you requested to be taken off. This is pretty awful by EE.

Peter Woodman (@peterwoodman67) 's Twitter Profile Photo

What it means is that you are renewing contracts WITHOUT telling customers that their TNT Sports package will end. And then you're sending emails out saying it was the customer's choice to end TNT Sports.

Ah, Willie. What a character. Sent off numerous times in his career. One dismissal came after he missed a tackle and then kicked the referee.

Tottenham faced an uphill task after losing this first leg 2-0. Fans need not have worried. Spurs won the second leg 6-0 at WHL and went on to win the ECWC. #COYS

That match is vividly described in a wonderful book by John Moynihan called Soccer Syndrome. He missed the start and was running to the ground as huge roars erupted from the stadium. My dad was there while I starved at a distant boarding school. #coys
