Arctic hare spotted just outside Iqaluit this spring. Easily three times the size of its 2,000-kilometre distant cousin seen on Montreal Island last summer. The Arctic herbivore is oddly more intimidating than its relative in the land of plenty, but almost as hard to spot :0)
