iPhone shot at the Brathay yesterday was meant to be an intimate landscape image. All I can see is a raggedy old witch rising out of the river…..spooky!! 🎃🎃

Lovely morning at Grasmere but the forecasted mist lifted earlier than expected. I’ll do what I do best and sit on my arse and see what happens then get a bacon sarnie and a brew ☕️🥓

Nearly didn’t get the camera out this morning. Took one shot, the second image is a severe crop from the first. You can play ‘spot the crop’ if you like - no prizes to be had, I ate the bacon sarnie I would’ve offered, reet tasty it was too. Nice to meet and chat with Jonny Gios

Oh how this place can toy with you. On our last afternoon with Stuart McGlennon after three days of the flattest of light we were gifted with some lovely silvery light…..not for long mind.
