Pilgrims from the Archdiocese of Armagh visit Assisi. A lovely visit to the Tomb of St Carlo Acutis who reminds us " The more we receive the Eucharist, the more we become like Christ."

The last day of our Jubilee Pilgrimage was spent in Siena where we visited the lovely Shrine of St Catherine. A very special week as we continue to mark this Jubilee Year, when we're all called to abound in Hope.

Wednesday 1st October is the Feast of St Therese of Lisieux. "What matters in life isn't great deeds but what matters most is great love." Blessing of Roses & Veneration of Relic @ 7.30pm Mass in Loughmacrory.

Meeting of Parents of P4/R4 Pupils in St Colmcille's PS on Mon 6th & Parents of Pupils in St Teresa's PS on Wed 8th October. Meetings in the schools @ 6.30pm.

As we enter the month of the Holy Rosary, let's pray the prayer or even a decade every day. On each Monday, the Rosary will be prayed in St Colmcille's & on each Wednesday, it will be prayed in St Mary's @ 7pm.

Fr Pius McLaughlin OFM will be celebrant & preacher @ the St Padre Pio Mass in St Colmcille's on Mon 6th Oct @ 7.30pm. Fr Pius lived with St Padre Pio for a number of years & the saints glove will be available at the Mass.

A lovely new Statue of St Therese of Lisieux is blessed during the beginning of year Mass for St Teresa's Primary School, Loughmacrory.

A lovely evening as parishioners gathered to reflect on ways in which we can engage young people all the more in the life of the Church & ways in which we can help young people & families grow in faith. Preparing for our Diocesan Congress on Youth, Family & Faith!

The school community in Dean Maguirc College, Carrickmore gathers for a special beginning of year Mass. May God bless all who are part of the school community in the year ahead!

Due to the weather warning for this evening, the 7.30pm Mass in St Colmcille's Church, Carrickmore has been cancelled.

Today is the Feast of St Francis of Assisi who abandoned all for the love of Christ. "Father you helped St Francis to reflect the image of Christ through a life of poverty & humility. May we follow your Son by walking in the footsteps of St Francis, and imitate his joyful love."

A Word of God from today's Mass: "I am reminding you to fan into a flame the gift that God gave you when I laid my hands on you. God's gift was not a spirit of timidity, but the spirit of power and love and self control." (2 Tim 1, 6)
