Deputy First Minister Kate Forbes MSP has been sworn in as Cabinet Secretary for Economy & Gaelic, becoming the first person to take the oath in Gaelic.

@petermacmahon There is more room for negotiation with a s.35 ruling as it is not a final judicial pronouncement.
@petermacmahon This is different from a Supreme Ct ruling on the limits of the powers of the Scottish Parly as we saw in the referendum case and a couple of others.
@petermacmahon The only court ruling on the GRR Bill was an Outer House Ct of Session (Edinburgh based) judicial review ruling on the UK govt's decision to use s.35 order. SG lost this and could have appealed but didn't.
As ever, only one poll, trends matter, but I think the trend is there. John Swinney has a fight on his hands to keep the Westminster seats The SNP currently holds. There is certainly Scottish Labour revival. And Scottish Conservatives support appears to be holding up.
