It’s unfortunate that Lucy is seen as a free speech issue, at least by GB News. There is no absolute right to free speech. It’s a qualified right. I have sympathy for her as the sentence was harsh. It’s an offence to issue threats of arson, even mitigated by a prompt retraction.
