Just been knocked back for the aged pension because we have $70,000 to much in assets which apparently includes an extra $300,000 valuation on the 30 acres our house is on that we can't subdivide and sell. How is an asset an asset if you can't realise it.

@thelittlepakeha @choz51 peter buch There’s the problem,you shouldn’t qualify if you have assets over a certain amount.It must be means tested is my point otherwise it’s ludicrous.

Terry Corby @thelittlepakeha @choz51 Yep there has to be a mechanism to keep money in the system instead of locked in a small % of the population, death tax is a good start.
