So, anything that Emma Reilly reports about misconduct in the UN..... somehow magically just disappears? Note to self; remember NOT to add a sprinkle of pixie dust when communicating with the United Nations about the rampant corruption there.
If it LOOKS like duck, and it WALKS like a duck, and it QUACKS like a duck ..... dont worry; the United Nations Ethics Office is perfectly capable of recognising it must, in fact, be the starter motor for a 1964 Ford Cortina. How could anyone possibly think anything different?

Showing how much UN Human Rights respects the legal principle of an individual being innocent until proven guilty: what will be next? The additional charge of being guilty of "being a criminal"? Or maybe a charge of "wasting the Court's time by pleading Not Guilty"?
The lie, repeated over and over, is still a lie; but of course it wouldn't be a lie if it it was "supported by sufficient evidence"..... so in order to make the lie true we need to see some evidence of the "sufficient evidence" ..... Confused? Don't worry; so is the United Nations
If the United Nations believes it is OK to lie to the Member States...... why should the Ambassadors of those Member States believe anything they're told when sitting on the important Budget Committee? "Believe me; yes, I did lie to your boss before but I'm being honest with you NOW!"
When I was a small boy, just old enough to sign my name in joined up writing, my dad taught me never to sign anything that did not make sense or that I did not understand. That advice has always stood me in good stead; but it does not appear to be important in the United Nations
Does anyone ever wonder why I have no problem saying that the United Nations is thoroughly corrupt from bottom to top? Its just a case of mind over matter. I don't mind and the United Nations clearly thinks it doesn't matter.
So, the question for Martha Helena Lopez is simple; what WOULD be "necessary" to prevent intimidation, arbitrary detention, torture and even possible genocide? Is the proper course of action to just sit on one's backside and collect a fat United Nations salary?
