Now thats rhythm. Its difficult enough to achieve but you 100% wont, if you dont 1)have stick specs atleast in the ballpark of proper 2) Understand “good hands” is not handling. 3) Recognize you dont just have a palm, thumb & arm. But a wrist, finger tips, knuckles, even an elbow

Z screening the release point is the goal, not the crease front screen. Goaliew get enough info after a few feet off the stick, regarding trajectory. Brilliant manuever by the ‘rookie’ to cross the puck, at release. Crease front screens are more a sign of respect for the 1990s...

No coincidence off an OZFO win, ANA players arent moving to the net too soon. While the opponent sets up shop to statically defend a vacant area that will be entered with movement. Goalie probably doesnt like his job anyways, so Im sure it was still more of a respectful gesture..

It sucks when a student finds out they no longer have a spot last minute. Which carries longer, more insidious ramifications. Has less solutions & a greater ROI hit. (Using tweet to play devils advocate in a mega ncaa issue not aiming at your specific situation/how it was handled)

MD: Underrated driver to hockey's growth. Created family participation in 90s;Compounding growth. I think it had a role in 05 lockout, as pre/post, the SCF had a Southern team beat a Canadian & Marty St.Louis changed the landscape of the game, like Orr(which isnt discussed enough)

Had a blast chatting with peter_russo9 last week. 🎙 Helping players get back in touch with WHY they play and WHY it matters 🎙 Why the stories we tell ourselves make all the difference 🎙”Tuesday’s define your life”, so find meaning in the mundane

A montage summary of Connor Carrick spring...We’re both UFA’s. Only difference is that Connor can play 22+ min as a RHD & capable of all things hockey & all things human. While I can really only dress as a shootout specialist/5v3. But other than that...

Sean & myself had a conversation, that each listener could be a part of. No prior prompts or guidelines. We discuss how the listener(if they choose to engage) receives something unique to them, that begins POST episode.Potential questions to live out, arriving at their own answers

3 WSH OZFO’s won last night, 1 extended OZP. 2 leave zone. Watch why. If you watch & look for what could have happened that didn’t for easy to tweak individual reasons, it’s staggering how many plays don’t emerge that may have. (Clip has all 3 in it, part 1 is the Ext OZP)

As more NHL teams value possession, width & interchangeable movement in OZP, traditional forms of DZC (predicated on protecting the net out (right frame), will evolve to more of a 'top down' approach. Using the net to funnel teams skinny, sinching the ability to wave the full OZ

See, why extend 2 defenders out to the mass mutual sign, the highest widest point of zone IF the rest of your shape is flat & low? Gives a 1v2 meaning a 2v1 is somewhere. DZC in hockey needs to recalibrate. Visualize (like gapping up)the low 2 surfing then wedging down w/ angles?

Forget Barzal for a second & watch the shape of the zone (if there's something to learn, it's what Barzal is creating with his ability). The question seems "Do I chase & hound to get the puck or do I do it just as deceptively as Barzal is, and reverse Bait the Bait?" so to speak.
