Good grief this is 30 years ago…..

Tonight on BBC1 and the i player at 6 30. Should children have smart phones? 97 per cent of 12 year olds have a phone and a quarter of all 5 to 7 year olds have one? Like your views? Tweet me now and watch for them on the TV at 6 30 along with the report.

Ours was always going wrong and when the guy came out I always hoped he couldn’t fix it and then he might leave us with something better till fixed. I can even remember the company name, was called Kenwyn radio vision in Truro.

Happy 60th birthday to BBC2. I can remember we couldn’t get it as you had to have a posh tv…one day ours broke and the rental man left us a replacement which got it.
I didn’t want it to go back. We, like many then,couldn’t afford a TV and had to rent. How things have changed.
