Little-known fact: a sulfiliminium has a pKa ~ 8.
A poll: is a sulfilimine bio-isosteric for a sulfoxide (i.e. Ki's will be within 10x, i.e. <1.4 kcal)?
To test: compare a classic toxin (amanitin) & a drug (Fulvestrant) with their sulfilimine congeners.
We're about to find out..
