🚨🚨 Very proud to announce that my first paper, in collaboration with Allison Daley is out ! 🥳🥳 If you want to know everything about radiodonts, be sure to check it out ! bit.ly/3NO6ykW ANOM Lab Institut des Sciences de la Terre - UNIL

Earlier this week Gaëtan Potin and I published a review about Anomalocaris and other radiodonts. Over 130 years of research on these bizarre creatures has revealed their importance for Paleozoic ecology and arthropod evolution. It’s been a wild ride! Enjoy! bit.ly/3NO6ykW

Meet Setapedites abundantis, a 485 million years old arthropod described by Lorenzo Lustri, Pierre Gueriau and Allison Daley. This tiny animal is abundant (hence it's name) in some levels of the Fezouata Shale and is a distant relative of today's 🕷️🦂 📄👉nature.com/articles/s4146…

From a Pompeii-like ash burial in Morocco, a new study presents 3D trilobite fossils with a remarkably well-preserved anatomy. The results point to marine volcanic ash deposits as important sites of exceptional fossil preservation. This week in Science: scim.ag/7u3
