Why is it that the people who live in my house never notice when I do something nice like some evening gardening but always notice the non essentials like the fridge being empty, no dinner cooked and a lack of availability of clean underwear?! πŸ€”

Well, National Trust, you really are master of scones. Rhubarb and rosemary. Who knew?!
Couldn't decide what to have with these until a friend suggested a pot of dipping custard πŸ˜… (she also suggested lamb shank, not so sure that would work.
Another fine recipe, thank you πŸ˜‹β€οΈ

What a corker of a day! The Long Distance Walkers Association Devonshire Dumpling event. 30 miles of glorious East Devon. Didn't take many photos as walked with a lovely young man for most of it and it was absolutely wonderful 🌞❀️ Not feeling much love for the drive back to Northampton πŸ˜…

I've a route I've been given as a gpx. Garmin tells me 668m of ascent, but when I load the same gpx into OS maps it reports 844m of ascent. Counting contours on the map I think 844m looks more accurate but any idea why Garmin would be so off with the same gpx file please anyone?

If someone tells you that you think too much and you then spend all evening wondering what that means, have you become your own self-fulfilling prophecy, and what happens next? πŸ˜†
Photos of me and Sarah taking photos of each other taking photos to add to confusion. Happy Monday!

Met the man behind the walk this evening, Mr Mark Richards himself. A most amusing evening. Thanks for coming over to greet us at the end of our walk
