I’ve visited team members in nearly every PA county & I’m always impressed by their commitment & skill. It was no different on my recent visit w/folks from our permits, traffic & other areas in the HBG-based District 8 office. I thank them for sharing their time & perspectives!

I recently visited a Lawrence Co. maintenance crew replacing a cross pipe in a flood-prone spot. We're on the front lines not only for storms/emergencies, but also for improvements to prevent/reduce challenges. Help keep our team safe; please slow down & don’t drive distracted!

PennDOT is responsible for keeping the 13M people of PA moving safely & efficiently on our vast transportation network. Our team works hard for Pennsylvanians, and it’s been fantastic meeting many of them across PA on job sites, in driver's license centers & in offices/garages.

Yesterday I joined local officials/industry partners to reopen Route 14 in Trout Run, Lycoming Co. to traffic. Motorists will use a temp roadway til the bridge damaged in 8/9 flooding is replaced. Opening Rte 14 as quickly as possible was a top priority for us & Governor Josh Shapiro.

The next step in making EVs a reliable option for PA drivers is local access to charging. Since these chargers will be in communities, it's vital that we hear what folks around the state think is important. Click below to share your thoughts!

This morning I had the honor of joining PA Secretary of Transportation Mike Carroll to welcome attendees to the National Association of State Aviation Officials convention and trade show in Pittsburgh. #NASAO24 The aviation industry employs more than 226K Pennsylvanians and has a $34 billion annual economic impact in PA.

Roundabouts have proven to be an irreplaceable tool in reducing crashes at intersections. Given the dramatic increase in safety, PennDOT will continue evaluating interchanges for roundabouts. Learn more below!
